Harry Reid ponders: “Why Would We Want to Help” a Child Dying of Cancer?

Searchlight’s Dim Bulb, Sen. Harry Reid, has done it again.  When questioned about whether the Senate would pass a bill funding the NIH, including funding for clinical trials for children with cancer, Reid responded by saying “Why would we want to do that?”

Further beclowning himself, Reid went on to ask regarding the House of Representatives, “What right do they have to pick and choose what part of government’s going to be funded?”

By what right? It’s called “The Constitution.”
